Daniele Schillaci, Nissan Motor Co.’s head of sales and marketing, and electric vehicle programs, plans to resign within two months, a source tells Kyodo News.

Schillaci (pictured) was hired by former Chairman Carlos Ghosn from Toyota Motor Corp. in 2015. He added the chairmanship of Nissan operations in Asia and Oceana in two years later.
Schillaci’s departure would be the fourth senior executive to leave Nissan following Ghosn’s arrest last November on charges of financial wrongdoing.
Jose Munoz, Nissan’s chief performance officer, quit in January. Arun Bajaj, who headed human resources left last month. Toshiyuki Shiga, vice chairman of the board and chief operating officer, plans to resign at Nissan’s shareholder meeting in June.
