Daimler AG intends to introduce between six and nine electric car models by 2024, according to multiple media reports.
In June the company announced two upcoming EVs: a concept car that will be unveiled at the Paris auto show at the end of September and a fourth-generation electrified version of its Smart city car due at the end of this year.
A Reuters source reiterates earlier reports that Daimler plans to offer a plug-in fuel cell-powered SUV that can travel about 50 km (30 miles) on battery power before switching to the hydrogen-powered fuel cell.
