BMW AG intends to reduce its labor costs in Germany by €100 million per year beginning in 2015, according to the Muenchner Merkur.
The German newspaper cites local works councils, which say BMW aim to avoid job cuts by seeking concessions and reducing or eliminating such things as snack breaks.
BMW says results will play a role in determining where it produces new models in the future.
