Preh GmbH boosted its pretax operating profit 56% in 2011 as sales jumped 20% to a record €412 million.
Last year the German supplier of automotive sensors, electronics and driver controls opened a second climate control systems plant in Mexico. It also launched its first factory in Ningbo, China, which began making steering wheel multifunction switches and climate controls in September.
Ningbo-based Joyson Investment Holding Co. acquired 75% of the company last June. Since then the company has been pushing more strongly into global markets.
