Nissan Motor Co. is recalling about 320,000 vehicles sold in Japan to replace electronic power units with defective coatings that could catch fire, Reuters reports.

The campaign covers six models: Nissan’s Serena minivan and an assortment of vans made by the company for Suzuki and Mitsubishi.

Nissan says affected vehicles were produced between February 2010 and September 2014. The company reports eight fires associated with the flaw.

The recall comes two months after an improper safety inspection procedure prompted Nissan to suspend production in Japan for two weeks. The company also recalled all 1.2 million vehicles it sold in Japan over the past three years to have them re-inspected.
