Nissan Opens “Smart” Mobility Research Center with Chinese University
Nissan Motor Co. and Tsinghua University’s department of automotive engineering have opened a joint research center on the school’s Beijing campus.

Nissan Motor Co. and Tsinghua University’s department of automotive engineering have opened a joint research center on the school’s Beijing campus.
Researchers at the so-called Intelligent Mobility Center will focus on technologies related to electric vehicles and driver-assist systems. This will include electrification systems, advanced sensors, automated-driving algorithms and steering and navigation systems.
Nissan and Tsinghua have worked together for more than a decade on other automotive-related research projects.
