Consumer data analytics giant Nielsen Holdings plc and J.D. Power are partnering on a new marketing platform to help automotive advertisers identify and target potential customers.
The so-called Nielsen Auto Cloud will combine data and analytic tools from the two companies. This will allow advertisers to personalize television and digital messages, targeting audiences based on car features and styling, buying stage, brand affinities, location, media engagement and device type.
The system incorporates real-time measurement and optimization capabilities so clients can quickly assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adapt to shifts in buying behavior. The integrated platform also helps user of cross-media strategies by measuring and controlling the frequency and types of ads people see throughout a campaign's life cycle.
