Opel CEO Karl-Thomas Neumann has cautioned his executives that the company faces "strong headwinds" for 2015 that could thwart the company's effort to post a profit in 2016, Germany's Bild reports.
The German daily newspaper cites a letter Neumann sent to the company's 300 top managers. In it, he also rebukes the executives for a lack of enthusiasm about helping the company revive.
Neumann says "many" of the company's senior team apparently believe managing projects is more important than leading people. "This," he warns, "is not what I expect from our top 300 leaders."
