Mitsubishi Motors Corp. is recalling a total of 368,100 cars and SUVs in the U.S. to repair parking brakes that may jam, and engine belt that could detach and sunroofs that could fall off. Some vehicles are subject to two or all three callbacks.

The largest campaign involves 170,400 of the company’s 2013-2014 Outlander Sport and 2014-2015 Outlander compact SUVs. The rear parking brake mechanism may corrode and either fail to engage or not fully disengage.

In the former case, the vehicle could move unexpectedly after being parked on a slope, when it is restarted and shifted into gear. The latter condition could cause the brake to drag, overheat and reduce the vehicle’s fuel efficiency.

The second campaign covers 141,100 of the company’s Outlanders and Lancer sedans, hatchbacks and sport sedans built between 2009 and 2012. The engines of affected cars have an accessory drive belt that could come loose and allow the battery to discharge.

A third recall covers 56,600 sunroofs in 2007-2010 Outlanders and Lancers produced between 2008 and 2012. The glass sunroofs on affected vehicles may loosen and blow off as the vehicle is being driven.

MMC says it will begin notifying owners about all three recalls near the end of March.
