Meunier to Head Infiniti Global Sales/Marketing

Nissan Motor Co.’s Infiniti luxury car arm has appointed Christian Meunier to the new position of vice president for its global marketing and sales operations.
Infiniti headquarters are in Hong Kong, but Meunier will remain at Nissan’s U.S. headquarters in Nashville, Tenn. He will report to Infiniti President Roland Krueger.
Meunier joined Nissan in 2002 and most recently was the company’s senior vice president of U.S. sales and marketing. He also headed the carmaker’s Canadian operations. He previously was general manager of product marketing and vice president of sales for Nissan Europe. Prior to joining Nissan, he worked for Mercedes-Benz and Land Rover in Europe.
Dan Mohnke, who had been vice president for strategy and digital acceleration in North America, will succeed Meunier as head of Nissan’s U.S. sales and marketing activities. He previously worked for General Motors Co. in dealer network development, retail strategy and regional operations at its defunct Saturn unit.
