Group Lotus plc plans to add a customer experience center, museum and heritage center to its headquarters campus in Hethel, England.

The customer experience center will sit next to an existing test track. The new facility will showcase Lotus’ current vehicle range and include an area for customers to select vehicle specifications.

Located at the 100-acre site’s original main office area, the two-story heritage center and museum will include a host of historic vehicles and Lotus founder Colin Chapman’s original office. A new restaurant will be added next to the center.

Lotus moved into the former World War II airbase in the 1960s. The original airbase control tower is being renovated to host track activities and corporate events.
