Kia Motor Corp. took the wraps off the all-electric variant of its Niro crossover vehicle this week in South Korea.

The Niro EV will be available with a choice of a 32- or 64-kWh battery. Kia says the units will provide driving ranges of 150 miles and 236 miles, respectively.

The full electric model features a filled-in grille with an integrated charging port to differentiate it from hybrid versions of the Niro, which debuted in 2016.

Kia says it has received more than 5,000 orders for the Niro EV in Korea, where the car will launch later this year. Sales in Europe and the U.S. will follow later.
