Nissan Motor Co.’s Infiniti unit will take the wraps off a sleek concept vehicle next week that will preview the luxury marque’s future electrified powertrains and design cues.
The company released a sketch of the single-seat Prototype 10 concept ahead of a scheduled unveiling on August 23 at the Monterey Car Week in Pebble Beach, Calif. Company officials say the concept provides “clues” to the brand’s electric future but provided no details.
Infiniti previously has announced plans to electrify its whole lineup by 2021. This will include a modular all-wheel-drive platform that can support a variety of hybrid and all-electric models.
