Members of the IG Metall union held their second day of "warning strikes" on Monday and plan more walkouts on Wednesday.
Workers are protesting an offer from employers of a 3% pay increase over 14 months. The union demands a 6.5% raise. Wage talks are scheduled to resume on May 8.
The mini-strikes are a regular feature of IG Metall bargaining. Walkouts on Monday briefly disrupted Daimler AG's Mercedes-Benz car production.
