Vehicle mirror-maker Gentex Corp.’s third-quarter revenue rose 10% to $430 million, and net income climbed 18% to $92 million.

The Zeeland, Mich.-based supplier says unit shipments of its self-dimming mirrors grew 10% in July-September. The company’s combined automotive revenue rose 11% to $420 million.

Gentex expects fourth-quarter production of light vehicles will expand 1% to 13.2 million units worldwide. The company cites an IHS Automotive forecast that predicts output will rise 1% to 4.4 million in North America and 3% to 5.4 million in Europe.
