Ford Shuffles Manufacturing, Legal, Marketing Leadership

Ford Motor Co. is making several leadership changes in its legal, manufacturing and marketing teams. The new assignments will begin on Jan. 1.

In the legal department, Bradley Gayton, 52, will become general counsel and a Ford vice president. He succeeds David Leitch, 54, who is retiring. Gayton currently is corporate secretary and assistant general counsel.

In manufacturing, Linda Cash, 53, will take over as vice president for manufacturing at Ford of Europe. Cash, currently director of vehicle operations in Europe, will replace Jeff Wood, 55, who is retiring. Also, Bill Russo, 61, will succeed Gary Johnson as vice president of manufacturing, Asia Pacific. Johnson is returning to the U.S. to lead a special global manufacturing planning team.

In marketing, Peter Fleet, 48, is being promoted to vice president of marketing, sales and service in Asia Pacific.
