Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV will pay eligible hourly workers an average $6,000 in profit sharing for their contribution to the company’s performance in 2018.

About 44,000 employs who belong to the United Auto Workers union will receive the payment on March 8.

As with UAW workers at Ford and General Motors, the amount paid by FCA is based on adjusted pretax earnings margin for North American operations. FCA’s $6,000 average compares with an average of $7,500 at Ford and a maximum of $10,750 announced by GM.
