Eaton Corp. says its new series of Bussmann fuses designed for electric vehicles are about half the weight and packaging size of other high-speed EV fuses.
The compact design also enables smaller assemblies and improved energy efficiency, according to the supplier. Other purported benefits include protection against a wider range of overcurrent conditions while avoiding potential problems associated with cycling fatigue.
