Tire and auto parts maker Continental AG says it will hire 5,000 new employees in China by year-end to meet rising customer demand.

Tire and auto parts maker Continental AG says it will hire 5,000 new employees in China by year-end to meet rising customer demand. Most of the new hires will work in engineering and manufacturing.
The new employees will bring Conti's workforce in China to 20,000 people, about 10% of its global total.
