General Motors Co. has named Phil Brook as vice president of marketing for its Buick car and GMC truck brands in the U.S.
Brook, 52, joined GM in 2004 and most recently was head of Buick and GMC brands in the south central U.S. region. He succeeds Tony DiSalle, who has been promoted to executive director of global portfolio planning for Buick.
Brook previously was marketing director at GM’s Holden unit in Australia, his home country. He held jobs at Honda and Nissan before joining GM.
