BMW AG says it has moved a portion of its engine production out of the U.K. ahead of the country’s exit from the European Union at the end of October, Reuters reports.

Both candidates to succeed Prime Minister Theresa May have said they are prepared for a “no-deal” Brexit, which would disrupt supply chains and add tariffs.

BMW’s engine plant at Hams Hall, England, had been supplying engines to a BMW assembly plant in South Africa. The carmaker says its British factory will offset the loss by shipping more engines to the company’s U.S. assembly plant in Spartanburg, S.C.
