BMW AG plans to launch production of an all-electric Mini in the U.K. this year regardless of how Brexit plays out at the end of this month.

The company tells reporters it expects even a “hard” British exit from the European Union will disrupt its supply chains for no more than six weeks, Bloomberg News reports. The carmaker also predicts a hard Brexit will result in tariffs between the U.K. and EU rising from zero to no more than 5%.

In either or both cases, the costs wouldn’t be great enough to justify relocating production, manufacturing chief Oliver Zipse says. BMW CEO Harald Krueger has noted the company could change its mind if the impact of Brexit proves more onerous.
