Audi AG reportedly is developing a new top-end version of its A8 large sedan that could debut as soon as 2020.

Sources tell Automotive News that new model would revive the Horch luxury marque introduced in the 1920s by the Auto Union group, which included Audi. The nameplate returned briefly after World War II but hasn’t been used since then.

A Horch version of the A8 would get custom wheels, special badging and interior tweaks, according to AN’s sources. They say the package likely would be offered only with the most powerful version of the A8 when that model is updated two or three years from now.
