The Chevrolet Volt extended-range hybrid leads Consumer Reports' owner-satisfaction survey for the second consecutive year.

CR reports that 92% of Volt owners say they would definitely buy the model again, outscoring the Chevy Corvette and Porsche 911 (tied at 91%), Audi A7 luxury sedan (90%) and Lexus GS luxury sedan (89%).

Among models whose owners reported the least satisfaction are the Nissan Versa sedan (49%), V-6-powered Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickup trucks (tied at 51%) and the Nissan Armada and Mitsubishi Outlander SUVs and Suzuki SX4 hatchback (tied at 52%).

The magazine notes that a brand's nationality was not a factor: Among the top-scorers were 16 American, 14 Asian and 14 European models.
