U.S. Jobless Rate Falls to Four-Year Low
America's unemployment rate dropped to 7.7% in November the best reading since December 2008 from 7.9% in October, the Dept. of Labor reports.

America's unemployment rate dropped to 7.7% in November the best reading since December 2008 from 7.9% in October, the Dept. of Labor reports.
U.S. employers added 146,000 jobs last month, according to the Labor Dept. The payrolls of automakers grew by nearly 10,000 workers in November.
Economists say the jobless rate also improved partly because more people stopped looking for work and thus were not counted among the unemployed.
