U.S. Fuel Prices Near $2 Per Gallon Again

Gasoline prices in the U.S. start the week at an average $1.98 per gallon for regular grade, according to the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report.
Prices were at $1.71 a month ago and $2.43 a year ago. They last were above $2 per gallon at the end of 2015.
Prices averaged $2.43 per gallon last year, the U.S. Energy Information Administration says. EIA predicts gasoline prices will average $1.85 in the current quarter and reach $2.02 by June.
