Toyota Motor Corp. is preparing to recall 423,500 of its RAV4 small SUVs to repair windshield wiper components that could corrode, separate from the wiper motor and stop the wipers from functioning, Reuters reports.

Toyota Motor Corp. is preparing to recall 423,500 of its RAV4 small SUVs to repair windshield wiper components that could corrode, separate from the wiper motor and stop the wipers from functioning, Reuters reports.
The U.S. campaign covers 2009-2012 model conventional RAV4s and 2012-2014 electric versions of the vehicle.
Toyota says dealers will replace the water channel, wiper link and wiper motor crank arm in affected vehicles.
