Tesla Offers Customers 500 Miles of Free Towing
Tesla Motors Inc. has extended its free towing service to 500 miles (800 km) when one of its electric cars has a warrantable repair issue within four years or 50,000 miles of purchase.

Tesla Motors Inc. has extended its free towing service to 500 miles (800 km) when one of its electric cars has a warrantable repair issue within four years or 50,000 miles of purchase. The coverage previously allowed 50 miles of free towing.
The company also will transport cars with a flat tire as far as 50 miles to the nearest Tesla service center. Free towing is not available for problems related to crashes, depleted batteries or acts of vandalism.
