Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV and FCA Group may develop a shared chassis for electric cars and could announce formal talks in June, sources tell Bloomberg News.

PSA tells Bloomberg only that no “deep” negotiations are under way for such a partnership. The report comes a week after The Wall Street Journal reported that FCA rejected an overture from PSA early this year to merge the two companies.
