Prosecutors in Stuttgart, Germany, raised the offices of Porsche AG earlier today as part of an investigation into possible financial wrongdoing.
Reuters says authorities are looking into two charges. One involves possible payments by Porsche to a tax official for leaking confidential information to one of the company’s tax advisors.
Prosecutors also say they are investigating Porsche executives on suspicion that they authorized “disproportionate” payments to a member of the company’s works council for undisclosed reasons, according to the news service.
