PSA Group reports a 42% jump in revenue to €18.2 billion ($22.2 billion) in the first quarter, thanks to the impact of its Opel acquisition last August.

Revenue for the company’s legacy Citroen, Peugeot and DS brands grew 13% to €10.2 billion ($12.5 billion) in January-March. The Opel and Vauxhall brands contributed €4.8 billion in revenue.

PSA’s overall unit sales for the period surged 44% to 1.05 million vehicles worldwide. The group reports gains everywhere it does business: China, Eurasia, Europe, India/Pacific, Latin America and Middle East/Africa.
