Nissan Picks Toyota’s European Sales Chief to Head Global Sales
Nissan Motor Co. has hired Daniele Schillaci, formerly head of European sales and marketing operations for Toyota Motor Corp., to be its executive vice president in charge of global head of sales and marketing.

Nissan Motor Co. has hired Daniele Schillaci, formerly head of European sales and marketing operations for Toyota Motor Corp., to be its executive vice president in charge of global head of sales and marketing.
Schillaci will begin his new assignment on July 15. He will oversee the company's Datsun, Infiniti and Nissan brands. He will report to chief planning officer Philippe Klein.
He began his career at Renault and later headed Fiat SpA's Alfa Romeo brand. He joined Toyota's European marketing unit in 2002 and became senior vice president of sales and marketing for Toyota Motor Europe two years ago.
