Carmakers in Mexico built 334,600 vehicles last month, and exports grew 12% to 276,600 of them, Reuters reports, citing data from trade group AMIA.

AMIA says year-on-year shipments to the U.S. rose 16% to 215,200 vehicles in June. Mexico’s exports to China surged more than 60%, but shipments to Latin America and Europe declined 7% and 1%, respectively.

Mexico’s automotive exports through the first half of 2017 climbed 14% to 1.5 million units, according to the trade group.
