Daimler AG’s Mercedes-Benz unit will unveil a new electric vehicle at next month’s Frankfurt auto show.

The concept model will carry the carmaker’s EQ sub-brand. Mercedes has provided no details about the vehicle other than to tout its flexibility, suggesting it could be a crossover variant.

Mercedes also will reveal the upcoming EQV electric van in Frankfurt. Powered by an electric motor and 100-kWh lithium-ion battery, the van is expected to have a 250-mile range on the European WLTP test cycle.

Mercedes plans to introduce 10 EQ electric models by 2025, starting this year with the EQC small crossover. Also in the works are the EQA small car and the EQS performance sedan.
