Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV’s Maserati unit is recalling 28,200 cars in the U.S. with driver’s floor mats that could jam the accelerator and cause unintended “very high vehicle speeds.”

The callback involves two high-performance luxury models—the $70,600 Ghibli and $99,900 Quattroporte—that were produced between February 2013 and November 2015.

The mat can move out of position if its anchors break, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The agency notes that the targeted cars are equipped with a brake override device that automatically disables the accelerator pedal if the driver applies the brake when unexpected acceleration begins.

Maserati dealers will replace the driver’s floor mat and its anchor and perhaps the accelerator pedal cover. The recall is expected to begin at the end of April.
