BMW AG says Uwe Ellinghaus, manager of its namesake brand and head of group marketing, will step down on Oct. 15.
The company, which gave no explanation for Ellinghaus' departure, says it will name his successor later. Ellinghaus held a series of jobs in brand strategy and market research during his 14 years at BMW.
