Unionized workers at Hyundai Motor Co. have voted to strike the company on Wednesday if negotiations for a new one-year labor contract aren't completed by then.
A walkout would mark the union's fourth strike in four years. As usual, negotiations are stalled over pay, bonuses and benefits.
The union has asked South Korea's National Labor Relations Commission to step in and arbitrate the talks. If the agency decides not to do so, the union would be allowed to begin a strike.
