Of the more than 40 new and refreshed vehicles due to bow in the 2016-model year, Forbes has identified its list of the 13 Hottest New Cars.

The hot 13 range from a pair of under-$20,000 entry-level rides from Toyota's Scion brand to the all-new Acura NSX sports car, which is expected to command a mid-$100,000 sticker, and the even pricier Maybach S600 supercar.

General Motors leads the way, accounting for more than half of the vehicles on the list. This includes three models each from its Cadillac (ATS-V, CTS-V and the new CT6 flagship sedan) and Chevrolet (Camaro sports car, Malibu midsize sedan and Volt plug-in hybrid) divisions and the all-new Buick Cascadia convertible.

Rounding out the list are the high-powered Mercedes-Benz AMG GT coupe and the redesigned Mazda Miata MX-5 convertible. You can check out a slide show of all the vehicles here.
