General Motors Co. has adjusted the roles of President Dan Ammann and global product development chief Mark Reuss.

The moves were announced internally. The tweaks enable Ammann, whose title is unchanged, to spend more time coordinating GM’s autonomous vehicle initiatives, according to Automotive News.

The realignment shifts responsibility for the Cadillac brand and global portfolio planning from Ammann to Reuss. Reuss’ former title—executive vice president of global product development—expands to add president of global product group and Cadillac.

Under the new structure, Cadillac President Steve Carlisle and global portfolio planning leader Sam Basile now report to Reuss instead of Ammann.
