GM Hikes Earnings Outlook
A bullish General Motors Co. has hiked its per-share earnings guidance for 2016 by 25 cents to a range of $5.25-$5.75.

A bullish General Motors Co. has hiked its per-share earnings guidance for 2016 by 25 cents to a range of $5.25-$5.75.
The company also will expand its share buyback program 80% to $9 billion and increase its dividend 2 cents to 38 cents per share.
GM forecasts strong but slowing growth in North America and China this year. It also expects to break even in Europe for the first time in two decades. CEO Mary Barra says the company aims to achieve an earnings before interest and tax margin of 9%-10% by 2021.
