Factory orders in Germany expanded nearly 2% from September to October, reversing three months of declines, according to the country’s Federal Statistical Office.

The agency says month-to-month domestic industrial orders in October rose a seasonally adjusted 1.7% and foreign orders gained 1.8%. Orders from other eurozone members climbed 2.4% compared with 1.4% from beyond the region.

The statistics bureau also adjusted its data for September to show 0.7% contraction rather than the 1.7% decline reported originally.
