Germany's manufacturing sector is concerned about current business conditions but bullish about the six-month outlook, according to the Munich-based Ifo Institute for Economic Research.

Ifo's Business Climate Index for the country edged up to 106.8 in February from 106.7 in January.

The institute says confidence within the manufacturing sector slipped slightly this month. But the six-month outlook climbed to its highest level since last August in spite of regional economic uncertainties.
