Geely Auto Group has launched Geometry, its new all-electric brand, and unveiled the marque’s first model, the A sedan.

The company says the standard Geometry A (210,000 yuan or $32,300) will have a range of 410 km (255 miles) per charge under Europe’s NEDC test protocol. A long-range version (230,000 yuan or $34,200) will be able to travel 500 km (311 miles) per charge.

Geometry aims to introduce 10 all-electric cars, SUV/crossovers and minivan models by 2025. All cars will use lithium batteries provided by China supplier CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd.) that can be replenished by fast-charge equipment to 80% of capacity in 30 minutes.

The Geometry A will be equipped with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, automatic headlight high-beam operation and collision warning.

An array of sensors and cameras enable 360° reversing video, front and rear collision warning, lane change and lane change assist, blind spot detection, adaptive cruise control and automatic parking.
