Former Hyundai Marketing Chief Joins Cars.com
Dean Evans, who quit as marketing chief for Hyundai Motor Co.’s U.S. unit last month, has been appointed executive vice president of digital retailer Cars.com.

Dean Evans, who quit as marketing chief for Hyundai Motor Co.’s U.S. unit last month, has been appointed executive vice president of digital retailer Cars.com.

In the newly created position, Evans will help the car-shopping website develop integrated marketing programs with dealers and carmakers. He will report to CEO Alex Vetter.
At Hyundai, Evans led the carmaker’s U.S. marketing efforts and spearheaded several high-profile Super Bowl ads. He was succeeded at Hyundai by Angela Zepeda.
Prior to joining Hyundai, Evans held marketing positions with Chrysler, Land Rover, Subaru, Dealer.com, Dealix and LotLinx.
