Ford Motor Co. is recalling about 38,000 of its 2015-2016 model low-roof Transit vans in the U.S. because their side airbags may not have been installed correctly. Dealers will adjust the position of the airbags, which are mounted above the side windows, if necessary.
Ford is conducting two additional minor recalls. In one campaign, dealers will replace 5,500 engine block heaters with an improved design in 2015-2016 model Lincoln MKC crossovers and 2016 Explorer SUVs.
The company also is calling back 4,800 of its 2015-2016 model F-650 and F-750 heavy-duty pickup trucks in the U.S. and Canada. Dealers will install stronger brake cable connector clips.
