Ford Motor Co. says its European operations should post a full-year pretax profit in 2015 the first since 2010 in spite of the region's still-fragile economic recovery.
Ford Europe President Stephen Odell says the company is "very, very pleased" with the unit's progress.
Ford lost $1.6 billion (€1.2 billion) in Europe last year. But Odell says three Ford plant closures, coupled with a bevy of new products and a 7% increase in sales so far this year, will help reverse last year's loss.
