Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV confirms it will distribute its 80% stake in Ferrari SpA to FCA shareholders during the first week of January.

FCA shares will begin trading without a Ferrari component on Jan. 4. The 10% stake in Ferrari sold by FCA in October will continue to trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the RACE ticker symbol. The distributed shares will do the same beginning Jan. 7.

The remaining 10% of Ferrari will be retained by Piero Ferrari, son of the founder. He has indicated he does not plan to sell any of his shares.
