Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV and partner Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. are launching a new joint venture to integrate sales and marketing for FCA's Chrysler, Fiat and Jeep brands in China.

FCA said earlier this year it hopes to multiply its annual sales in China to 850,000 units in 2018 from 130,000 in 2013.

The unnamed new marketing company will combine the now-separate China sales activities of Fiat and Chrysler (which includes Jeep), reports Automotive News China. The move will help FCA's plan to begin making three Jeep models in 2016 at a new factory in Guangzhou.
