Faurecia SA's operating income in the first half of 2015 surged 40% to €424 million, and revenue grew 13% to €10.5 billion. Net income nearly doubled to €157 million.

Faurecia says it will generate more than €200 million in net cash flow, double its previous target for the year. The vehicle interiors supplier reiterates that it expects full-year sales and operating profit to increase 5% and 4%, respectively.

Sources tell Bloomberg News the company has been in discussions with private equity firms and other suppliers about selling its bumpers business.
