The European Commission is investigating possible collusion on auto parts pricing by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Jaguar Land Rover, Nissan, PSA and Renault, Der Spiegel reports.
The German magazine says the EC suspects that the companies, aided by Dublin-based consulting firm Accenture plc, may have conspired to hike parts prices by as much as 25%. None of the companies has commented.
The EC probe in the possible antitrust violations began in December, Der Spiegel reports. The investigation follow one launched last September by the commission into possible collusion on emission control technologies by BMW, Daimler and Volkswagen.
